Stop the presses

Do not, I repeat, do NOT duplicate the automatic chicken door I describe below. The motor apparently failed last night. One of the small plastic gears (the drive gear) came apart. So now it's back to the drawing board for me.

Well Keith, you and Thomas Edison have something in common. How many failures did he have in trying to find a filament for his lightbulb? Somewhere around 10,000 comes to mind. I sure hope you can figure it out sooner than that though. :-)

Well, Keith, I wish you success with your invention. By the time you have finished fine-tuning it, it should be perfect. Then you can write a book like Herrick! ;^D At least you didn't decapitate any chickens! ~LOL~ If you're like us, you do more learning by your mistakes than any other method. God's blessings to you!
